Travel money

All the multi-currency cards on offer have the same predictable currencies, which I think is a bit short sighted because other countries are on the up. All the banks are offering the same old TravelEx Cash Passport which is a rip compared to the Air New Zealand Onesmart Airpoints/Flybuys card (1) and Qantas Frequent Flyer card (2) (both of which double as debit Mastercards) which offer considerably lower fees.

I’d like something with more currencies and which I can instantly transfer funds to through internet banking. There are several countries where I think there would be adequate demand and no competing local offers which would make for a unique offering by the bank.

Links to the fees charged. The TravelEx Cash Passport (3) is really taking the ■■■■ with it’s charges.
