We’ve recently detected fraud attacks of increased sophistication on BNZ’s Internet Banking for Business service, so it seems timely to put out a quick reminder for how you can protect your (and your business’) online security.
Two main things to remember are that we will NEVER:
- send emails or texts, or telephone asking for User IDs, Access IDs, passwords or NetGuard information for you or anyone else who uses your IB4B site,
- ask other users to enter their User IDs, Access IDs or passwords on your computer.
I’ve also sent out an email notification to BNZ Internet Banking for Business users, so if you’re one of those customers you may have received that recently.
If you’ve got online security tips or any questions for me, leave them in the comments below.
