Hi I just sent money to an account that was closed last week by mistake. How do I get this back as I need it for my credit card payments. Thanks
I’m assuming it’s a BNZ account that was closed? If not, then the money will “bounce” back from the receiving bank within 2-3 working days. In the interim, I would suggest you call us on 0800 275 269 to get an answer to your particular scenario. If it was a BNZ account that was closed to which the money was sent, we will be able to help in much greater detail, but the money is not “lost”, i.e. gone forever.
