I have a BNZ Visa Advantage Business credit card which I used to pay for my airfares for an upcoming trip to the Philippines.
Part of my trip will involve meetings in regards to a charitable project - Philippines Micro Solar development project and visiting another comparable project there. The trip and the operating expenses for this project are funded out of my pocket.
I am disappointed to learn that the travel insurance will not apply in this case due to this being classed as ‘humanitarian’. If it was for business or personal, the trip would be covered.
